Barometric pressure sensor flex 16 PRO MAX

The iPhone 16 Pro Max is equipped with a barometer and a system of four studio-quality microphones that offer a new Audio Mix feature for sound editing. 

Microphone system
According to Apple, this model has a significantly improved audio system compared to previous generations:
• Number and quality: The device is equipped with four studio-quality microphones with reduced self-noise.
• Placement: The main microphone is located on the bottom edge near the charging port, another is on the back near the camera module (for video recording), and an additional one is on the top edge, which supports the noise reduction system.
• Audio features: Supports spatial audio recording, wind noise reduction, and a new Audio Mix feature that allows you to isolate your voice from ambient noise after recording a video. 

Barometer and sensors
The barometer is a standard feature of the iPhone 16 Pro Max, used to measure atmospheric pressure and accurately determine altitude (e.g., when hiking or for fall detection). 
• Integration: Inside the device, the barometric sensor is often integrated on the same flex cable as one of the microphones.
• Application: Data from the barometer is used by Apple's system algorithms to improve GPS location accuracy and in health and sports applications.
