Barometric pressure sensor flex 16 PRO

The iPhone 16 Pro features an advanced studio-grade four-microphone system and a built-in barometer (pressure sensor) that is integrated on the same flex cable as one of the microphones. 

Microphone characteristics
The audio system in the iPhone 16 Pro is designed for professional audio recording. 
• Studio quality: Apple has equipped the Pro model with four microphones that feature lower self-noise levels for more realistic recordings.
• Audio Mix: A new feature that allows you to edit audio after recording a video. Available modes include Studio (imitates recording in a soundproof room) and In-frame (focuses on the voices of people visible in the frame).
• Wind Noise Reduction: The device automatically reduces wind noise during video recording, significantly improving audio clarity outdoors. 

Barometer (pressure sensor)
The barometer is a standard sensor in the iPhone 16 Pro, used to accurately determine altitude. 
• Technical integration: In the service part specifications, the barometer appears as a component connected to the microphone module on a common ribbon cable. Failure of one of these components often requires replacement of the entire module.
• Application: This sensor supports GPS location (vertical axis) and is used to measure atmospheric pressure in weather and sports applications.
