Barometric pressure sensor flex 16

The iPhone 16 uses an advanced microphone system and pressure sensor (barometer) to support multimedia and navigation features. A key new feature in this series is 
Audio Mix technology, which allows for professional audio editing directly in the Photos app.

Barometer (Pressure Sensor)

The barometer is a standard feature on every iPhone 16 model. 
• Function: Measures differences in atmospheric pressure whenever the device changes altitude.
• Application: Supports GPS in accurately determining location (vertical axis), which is crucial for navigation and counting floors climbed in the Health app.
•  Service: Inside the device, the barometer is often located on a single signal cable (flex) along with one of the microphones, which means that damage to one of these components may require replacement of the entire module.
